Chery Flying Car Prototype Debuts at 2024 Chery Global Innovation Conference and Successfully Tested

On October 18th, at the 2024 Chery Global Innovation Conference, on-site staff introduced that this flying car is a prototype and is currently under development. It has successfully flown a test flight with a distance of about 80 kilometers.

This product pioneered a three body docking mechanism:

Flight module+cockpit=flight form

Driving module+cabin=car form

this three body compound wing flying car does not have a steering wheel, throttle, etc. The car supports two modes of autonomous driving: flight and driving, and can switch between land and air autonomous driving modes, helping to solve urban traffic congestion problems.

Chery has not disclosed the specific launch date of the three body compound wing flying car, and the product is still in the prototype stage.
